Katie Lane is a producer at WKBW 7 News in Buffalo, NY. She joined the 7 News team in June 2022.
Katie produces "Good Morning Buffalo" and the station's digital talk-back show, "Second Cup".
She graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2022 with a B.S. in Broadcast and Digital Journalism.
In college, she served as the president of the nation's oldest and largest entirely student-run TV station, CitrusTV. She was also a member of the campus iHeartRadio affiliate station, WJPZ-Z89.
Katie comes to Western New York from Lake Wallenpaupack, a small town located just outside of Scranton, PA (Yes... like "The Office").
When she's not working, Katie is traveling with friends and family, catching a play, seeing her favorite bands in concert, or kicking it back at a ball game. Go Yankees! Go Bills!
