Jushi Inc is investing $5 million in a new high-tech hemp processing operation on Buffalo's East Side.
Sound Wellness LLC, a subsidiary of Jushi Inc, announced Monday it has received approval for its industrial hemp-CBD processor license application.
Jushi is expectd to create 30-65 jobs in the area. It's facility will house a state-of-the-art lab designed to allow Sound Wellness to create products using CBD distllate, CBD isolate and water-soluble CBD.
Sound Wellness will be launching its physician-formulated line of hemp-derived CBD products under the “MEND” brand name. The products will be available at the DENT Neurologic Institute at a discount to its patients.
