Dewittville mom arrested, accused of neglecting her child

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, N.Y. (WKBW) — On Tuesday, State Police out of Jamestown arrested 42-year-old Julia Johnson of Dewittville after a call of a possible neglect case involving a child.

An investigation showed the child had dozens of unexcused absences at school and was living with someone else for about eight months, during which Johnson provided no child support.

Johnson was placed under arrest and has since been transported to the Chautauqua County jail. She's facing 1st degree Non-support of a Child and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
