Will it rain at the Eden Corn Festival this weekend?

One of Western New York's best festivals kicked off Thursday morning.

The Eden Corn Festival has been running strong for 55 years offering great food and entertainment to many of us.

But many of you want to know if you're going to take shelter at any point this weekend. After all, nature can be cruel and unforgiving at times.

Here's how your weekend is going to pan out at the Eden Corn Festival.

Thursday

Peaks of sun and warm temperatures is what you can expect in Eden Thursday.

Friday

Friday offers up a better chance for some showers and thunderstorms. However, don't let that deter you from driving down route 62. There will be lots of dry time and is in no way even close to being a washout. The best opportunity for a few showers comes during the late morning and afternoon hours.

Saturday

Nature turns up the thermostat in Eden Saturday. Bring the shorts, t-shirt, sunglasses and an appetite to the festival. A pop-up shower is not out of the question.

Sunday

No need for the umbrella Sunday. Lots of blue skies and temperatures in the mid 80s.
