That's a record! Daily snowfall record set for Buffalo on April 22nd

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — With 0.7 inches of snow on Wednesday, the City of Buffalo broke the daily snowfall record for April 22nd.

The previous high was set on April 22nd, 1986 with 0.2 inches of snow.

With seven days of measurable snow so far this April, the National Weather Service Buffalo says April 2020 is tied for 9th-most in Buffalo's history.

The record for most days of measurable snow in Buffalo is 11 which happened first in 1961 and again in 2018.

So far this April we've recorded 4.3 inches of snow.
