BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Cool and unsettled weather across Western New York for Monday.

Rain and snow showers are likely with some minor accumulations over the higher elevations of the Southern Tier.

You could see 1-3" of snow over the highest elevations of Cattaraugus and Allegany counties.

Expect the rain showers and snow showers to continue off and on throughout the day.

Monday will be a good day to exercise at home and catch up on some of your favorite shows.

Tuesday starts with some cloud cover but expect partly to mostly sunny skies in the afternoon.

The yard will still be soggy from the rain and snow on Monday but the sun will be out and temperatures climb into the upper 40s.

Tuesday looks like a great day to wash the car or take a stroll outside.

Wednesday looks even milder but expect some rain to return across the Southern Tier late in the day.

Ground will still be soggy so you may hold off on that yard work again.

You'll be able to take a walk or run on Wednesday and you can clean the car as well.
