Hamburg leading Western New York in Christmas snowfall with eight inches; Buffalo gets 4.9

HAMBURG, N.Y. (WKBW) — Western New York woke up on Friday morning to a white Christmas.

The National Weather Service reports that several cities and towns in Western New York got significant snowfall Christmas morning.

Hamburg led all of Western New York in snowfall with eight inches of snow as of 7 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Buffalo received 4.9 inches of snow as of 7 a.m.
