Snow showers Thursday and Friday

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A strong cold front moving through Western New York this morning will usher in come very cold air. This cold air will support some snow across the area today, tonight, and Friday.

Rain mixing with some big flakes across the area this morning.

As of right now the best chance for any accumulation will be across the Southern Tier with 1-3" possible. Buffalo and areas to the north will see flakes as well.

Not only will we have snow but winds will be strong with gusts near 40mph.

The average amount of snow for Buffalo for the month of April is 2.7".

It's common for us to have snow for the month of April, in fact we have never gone an entire month of April without at least a trace of snow.
