BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — We're just finishing the warmest July on record and our weather pattern is about to change.

High temperatures will be in the mid 80s on Saturday with highs near 80 on Sunday.

Temperatures will then drop into the 70s for highs on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week.

An upper-level low pressure system will stall over the eastern Great Lakes and keep our weather unsettled for the start of next week.

This area of low pressure will keep clouds around and bring us a rain chance Monday through Wednesday.

Average high on August 1st is 80 degrees.

Average high on August 31st is 76 degrees.
