BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — We are ending the month of March on a cool and soggy note, however, when the final numbers are in this month will most likely be the 7th warmest March on record.

The average high for the month is 49.4 degrees.

The average low for the month is 33.0 degrees.

The average temperature for the month is 41.2 degrees.

41.2 degrees is the seventh warmest March on record.

This puts us just ahead of the 41.1 average set back in 1898.

The highest temperature for the month was 74 on the March 29th.

The lowest temperature was 1 degree on March 1st.

We did have 2.1" of snow accumulate for the month of March.

As we head toward April the average high on April 1st is 48 degrees.

The average high on April 30th is 61 degrees.

Our average will increase 13 degrees this month.
