BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The National Weather Service has issued a Lake Effect Snow Warning for Southern Erie, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Wyoming County.
The warning will go through 10:00 a.m. Saturday. Winds gusting over 45 miles per hour will create whiteouts across the area.
Some areas on the hill tops can expect snowfall totals of 1 to 2 feet by Friday evening.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for Allegany County through 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
