Dense Fog Advisory until 7am for all of Western New York.

Winter Weather Advisory until 1am Thursday for Northern Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, and Wyoming Counties. Ice accumulations well north of Buffalo 0.25 to 0.50 inches.

Light rain across the area early this morning. Temperatures will drop and freezing rain will accumulate mainly to the north and east of Buffalo. Highest ice accumulations will be across Niagara and Orleans Counties. The ice will make for slippery road conditions and could cause possible power outages. The wintry mix will taper off overnight. Thursday will be a quiet day with highs in the 40s. Rain returns on Friday with snow Friday night through Monday.
