BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Wind ADVISORY for all of WNY from 2am-8pm Thursday. Winds will starting out of the south overnight and switching to SW into Thursday during the day. Winds may occasionally gust to 55pm. Be sure to secure loose outdoor objects, and be prepared for isolated power outages.
Humidity will pick up into tonight with showers and t-storms becoming more numerous overnight. Winds may gust to 50mph especially across the Chautauqua Ridge. Elsewhere, SW winds may gust to 40-50mph late tonight into the first half of the day on Thursday. Scattered storms possible into Thursday afternoon. As winds shift to southwest, a lake seiche will occur rising a couple of feet on the eastern end of Lake Erie.
