Winter Storm Warning until 1a.m. Friday for Southern Erie, Wyoming, Chautauqua, and Cattaraugus Counties for 1 to 3 feet of snow.

Winter Weather Advisory until 7p.m. Wednesday for Allegany County for 5 to 13 inches of snow.

Winter Weather Advisory until 1a.m. Thursday for Niagara, Orleans, and Genesee Counties. Expect 2 to 4" of snow through tonight with another 2 to 4" of snow on Wednesday.

Winter Weather Advisory from 7am Wednesday through 1am Thursday for snow accumulating 2-4" of snow Wednesday afternoon and evening. Some higher totals possible with lake enhancement.

Lake effect snow will settle south of Buffalo tonight through early Wednesday. The most significant band organizes early Wednesday with 1-2" per hour possible. Across the S.Tier 1-2 feet are possible with lesser amounts into southern Erie county early Wednesday afternoon. The band shifts back toward Buffalo Wednesday afternoon with more of a general snow to move through. 2-4" of a widespread snow is likely into the evening hours with some isolated areas dealing with more from lake enhancement. If you're traveling for NYE plans Wednesday evening, give yourself extra time. Area wide steady snow will slow you down across WNY.
