High Wind WARNING until 5 a.m. Saturday for Chautauqua, Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genesee, and Wyoming Counties. Winds will gust near 60 miles per hour. Power outages are possible especially overnight.

Wind Advisory until 8 a.m. Saturday for Cattaraugus and Allegany Counties. Winds will gust near 50 miles per hour.

Winter Weather Advisory 5 p.m. today through 8 a.m. Saturday for Southern Erie, Wyoming, Chautauqua, and Cattaraugus Counties. Strong winds and several inches of snow overnight.

Snow tonight with wind gusts increasing to 60mph, possibly producing scattered power outages. Temperatures will rise to near 40 this afternoon and then drop into the upper 20s tonight. Winds will increase with gusts near 60 miles per hour after 8pm tonight and into the overnight. Power outages are possible. Expect 1 to 3 inches of snow by Saturday morning with 3-7" inches of snow across the Southern Tier hilltops. Skies will clear Saturday afternoon. Winds will increase again on Sunday with gusts near 35 miles per hour late in the day.
