ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WKBW) — After previously announcing an end to their affiliation with the Minnesota Twins after 17 seasons, the Rochester Red Wings reportedly have a new MLB affiliate in the Washington Nationals.
New York Senator Chuck Schumer who made the made the announcement Thursday morning, tweeting "I’m proud I secured a commitment from the Nationals to ensure new Major League affiliate for Rochester Red Wings to keep Red Wings ‘safe at home’."

There’s no doubt @RocRedWings will keep knocking it out of the park for fans throughout the Rochester Finger Lakes region.
The Red Wings also tweeted "Woke up with a #Natitude today," which is the Nationals team hashtag.
