MIAMI (WKBW) — Although the Buffalo Bills were eliminated from the playoffs in the wild card round, there was reason for Western New Yorkers to celebrate.

Three Western New Yorkers will receive NFL championship rings following the Kansas City Chiefs 31-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV.

Demone Harris, a graduate of Bishop Timon High School, and University at Buffalo, Canisius High School graduate Ryan Hunter, and South Park High School graduate Jody Fortson represented Western New York well in the Chiefs first Super Bowl win in 50 years.

Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins and former Bills running back LeSean McCoy also helped the Chiefs become Super Bowl champions this season.
