Two games down and still no goals allowed.

After grabbing a 4-0 win over Connecticut a few days ago, the Buffalo Beauts recorded another shutout Saturday afternoon as they beat the Whale 7-0 for their second win of the season in front of their home crowd. With the win, the Beauts improve to 2-0.

Six different Beauts scored in the win with three players (Savannah Harmon, Annika Zalewski, and Julianna Iafallo) recording their first career NWHL goals.

Shannon Szabados, signed in the offseason by the Beauts, stopped 22 shots as she grabbed her first win and shutout in the NWHL.

This is the team's best start in team history and also happens to be the first time they've recorded back-to-back shutouts. The Beauts are back in action on October 27th and 28th when they travel to Minnesota to take on the Whitecaps.
