Several Buffalo Bandits Earn 2018-19 NLL Season Awards

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Coming off the best regular season in the team's history, the Buffalo Bandits earned three season awards and three spots on the All-Pro and All-Rookie teams.

John Tavares and Rich Kilgour split the Les Bartley Award given to the NLL's Head Coach of the year. It was the duo's first year as co-head coaches for Buffalo. Both of them have played for the Bandits.

In the front office, Steve Dietrich won General Manager of the Year. The Bandits nearly doubled their win total compared to last season.

Matt Vinc won goaltender of the year and First Team All-Pro honors for his standout season in cage. In 18 games and over 1000 minutes played, Vinc had a .803 save percentage and a 10.02 goals against average.

Defender Steve Priolo was named Second Team All-Pro after causing 23 turnovers on the season and adding 11 goals and 15 assists.

Ian Mackay was one of three transition players named to the All-Rookie team. The former fourth overall pick scooped up 88 loose balls and added 11 goals and 21 assists.
