BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Sabres will open the season on October 3rd and play in their home opener two days later.
On Friday, the NHL announced the home openers for every league team and with a look at that schedule, Sabres fans learned of the team's first road and home game of the season.

The Sabres will travel to Pittsburgh to play the Penguins on October 3rd and then two days later on October 5th, will host the Devils at KeyBank Center for the first home game of the season.
The rest of the 2019-2020 schedule will be released on Tuesday, June 25th.
