With the 69th overall pick the Buffalo Sabres selected Cliff Pu in the 2016 NHL Draft.

Pu had 31 points in 69 games for the London Knights, who won the OHL's Memorial Cup.

He finished 10th in points on the team last season.

Here is what The Hockey News had to say about Pu:

"A fast player with nice vision and good size, Pu looks to Jeff Carter as an NHL role model and the youngster has been a high-rising prospect thanks to his second half, which saw him tally eight points in his final eight regular season games."
