With the 99th overall pick the Buffalo Sabres selected Brett Murray in the 2016 NHL Draft.
The LW from the CCHL ranked #83 among N. American skaters.
Murray, who is committed to Penn State next year, scored 14 goals and 32 assists this year for the Carleton Place Canadians.
Murray described himself as a power forward, who uses his size and skill to open up space on the ice for his teammates.
