Housley: Lehner day-to-day, will sit vs. Capitals

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - With a 3:00 p.m. start for the Presidents' Day game between the Buffalo Sabres and Washington Capitals, Phil Housley addressed the media two and a half hours before puck drop.

"It's just one of those things that's built up and he's taking a day off today," Housley said. "It's just a day-to-day thing, but we thought it was important he should rest for today."

Among the other topics Housley discussed: the dangers of facing Alex Ovechkin, what he needs to see as Nick Baptiste returns to the lineup and his relationship with Capitals head coach Barry Trotz.
