There has been plenty of excitement around the Sabres this season, but nothing compared to the emotions of a dad surprising his daughter with tickets to her first game.
Alan Carl of Niagara Falls, faked being sick from work on Tuesday and for good reason. In a video he posted on Twitter, he surprises his 11-year-old daughter, Samantha, with a holiday hockey treat.

Alan and his daughter went to Tuesday’s game against New Jersey, which the Sabres lost 2-0.
