BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Sabres announced forward Jeff Skinner has been placed on injured reserve.
The team said Skinner sustained an upper-body injury following a hit from Colorado Avalanche forward Nathan MacKinnon during the second period on Wednesday. He will miss a minimum of seven days.
In a corresponding move, the team recalled forward Brett Murray from the Rochester Americans.
