BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Buffalo Sabres have placed forward Casey Mittelstadt on injured reserve.

Mittelstadt has only played four games this season, scoring one goal.

Mittelstadt's return time from injury is unknown.

The forward signed a three-year, $7.5 million contract during the offseason.
