BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Buffalo Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin has been added to the COVID protocol list.
The team now has nine players on its COVID protocol list - Taylor Hall, Jake McCabe, Brandon Montour, Rasmus Ristolainen, Casey Mittelstadt, Tobias Rieder, Dylan Cozens, Curtis Lazar and Rasmus Dahlin.
Head coach Ralph Krueger is also in the COVID protocol after it was announced Thursday he tested positive for COVID-19.
The team announced on February 2 its games were postponed until at least February 8 due to the NHL'S COVID protocol. All team facilities have been shut down as well.
Buffalo's next game is scheduled for February 11th vs. Washington. Their postponed matchups have been rescheduled, you can find those details here.
If the #Sabres actually play Thursday, which seems very unlikely at this point, they’ll have a major problem on defense. Four of their starting six defenders are on this list with Dahlin, McCabe, Ristolainen, & Montour.— Matthew Bové (@Matt_Bove) February 8, 2021
Only starters not on list are Jokiharju & Miller. https://t.co/mgFzfpj8Gq
