Buffalo native Stephen Dhillon and East Aurora's Austin Osmanski won't be participating the NHL Combine in Buffalo this weekend, but they still have a chance to hear their names called at the NHL Draft in a few weeks.

Dhillon is rated as the 22nd goalie in North America.

Osmanski is one of a strong corps of defenseman that are a part of this year's draft prospects.

"It gives me chills to be honest.  I mean you are really close but at the same time there is a lot of work to be done," Osmanski said.  "But all growing up, it's something you think about and to have the chance to get within an arm's reach is pretty cool.

"It's a dream. To have it in the hometown and to potentially get the world juniors in the hometown and potentially play there, would be another dream come true," Dhillon added.  "It's a great to have the draft here and hopefully it all works out on draft day."

Both played in the OHL this past season.  Dhillon was a rookie goaltender for the Niagara IceDogs.  Osmanski played for the Mississauga Steelheads and totaled 10 points in 65 games.
