BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Retired New England Patriots tight end and Western New York native Rob Gronkowski is reportedly returning to the NFL.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network and Adam Schefter of ESPN report Gronkowski has been traded by the Patriots to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to reunite with his former quarterback Tom Brady.

Reports of Gronkowski being interested in returning to the NFL surfaced late Tuesday afternoon, within a matter of minutes reports of the trade surfaced.
Gronkowski retired from the NFL in March of 2019.
