If there was a place to be Saturday night in the Queen City, it was at All-High Stadium to catch the showdown between FC Buffalo and Fort Pitt Regiment.
The Blizters opened the scoring less than five minutes in, and a tallied another in a 2-0 win.
The fun and excitement in the stands had an extra boost, thanks to a group of soccer fans from Germany.
Sasha, who is traveling with the group of 16, said they watched FC Buffalo play a game in Syracuse, a match they won 2-1.
After heading north of the border to Toronto, they wanted to catch the Blitzers again and reached out to some local fans to see when the next game was.

"We're big soccer fans, we're big supporters," Sasha said. "We decided we were going to meet up with these guys. (Syracuse) played Buffalo that night. We said 'Ok, we're going to head to Buffalo and that's why were here."
"I've met a few international fans here before, like one or two have come to see the match before," Frank "The Butcher" said. "This is the first time there's been a big group. They're singing their own chants and having a lot fun. It's awesome."
Now, the two fan bases are looking to meet up again, this time in Germany to take in a match overseas.
"When these guys come to Germany. We'll try to get tickets," Sasha said.
