BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Western New York hockey teams were a mixed bag on Saturday. One team returns home with a trophy, another advanced, and another saw their season come to an end.

St. Mary's of Lancaster won the Catholic State Championship after taking St. Joe's place. The Lancers beat Chaminade 4-1.

Back in Buffalo, Williamsville North toppled Ithaca at HarborCenter with a 3-1 win. Matthew Scott had a goal and an assist.

Starpoint, however, had no such luck. Their season ended at the hands of the Skaneateles Lakers with a 6-1 loss.
