It's official.

Williamsville North wrapped up their quest for "one for the thumb" Sunday afternoon with a 3-2 win over Pittsford in the Division I Championship.

The title is the fifth in program history and first since 2011.

Trailing 1-0 late in the first period Brett Sardina and Andrew Bruno scored less than three minutes a part to give the Spartans a 2-1 advantage.

Adam Batz, the hero in the Spartans' Section VI Championship, added the third and final tally in the second period.
