A trio of Williamsville North soccer players have made their plans official after signing scholarships on National Signing Day.
Blake Ferrell, Samantha Diamond, and Maya Palmer signed their papers in front of family and friends Wednesday afternoon.
Ferrell is headed to Mercyhurst. As a 3-year Varsity player, Ferrell scored 23 goals in his career. In his senior year he had 12 goals and 11 assists, was a team captain, and was selected to play in the WNY Exceptional Senior Game.
Diamond is headed to Hofstra University. She was a 4-year Varsity starter and captain during her senior year. She was a two-time ECIC All-Star, named to the All-State 6th team in 2017 and currently plays for WNY Flash Soccer Club.
Palmer is headed to Old Dominion University. She was a 6-year Varsity starter and two-time captain and MVP. She racked up many ECIC and All-State honors including 2017 All Western New York player of the year and All New York State 1st team.
