BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Spartans at the Billies are one step closer to a section championship. Both of them picked up wins today at HarborCenter.
WIlliamsville South beat West Seneca East 5-2. The top seeded Billies had a first round bye and sealed the game with a goal from Mitchell Kiebala.
Later in the afternoon, Starpoint dominated Hamburg in an 8-0 victory. Seven of those goals were scored in the second period.
Neither team knows their opponent yet; more small school quarterfinals on Monday will decide the matchups.
