BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — St. Mary's School for the Deaf will be sending several athletes to both Alabama and Texas to compete in national events.
Nick Barrus, Isa Habeeb, Kassim Kassim, and Coach Kevin LeRoy have been selected by USA Deaf Basketball to participate in the 13th annual East vs West All-Star Game in Birmingham, Alabama on April 16th. The athletes will participate in a practice session that Thursday before hitting the court for the game on Friday.
Ryan Brzezinski, meanwhile, will be attending The 13th Annual Berg/Seeger Classic Track Meet on Saturday, April 18th hosted at Texas School the Deaf in Austin, Texas. Ryan is ranked 10th all time in the shot put and will also compete in the discus.
