Four teams entered ithe Niagara Cup Playoffs... and after the semi-final action, we're now down to two.
St. Joe's and Canisius advanced to the Niagara Cup Final, following their respective wins on Monday night at the HARBORCENTER in downtown Buffalo.
The top seed, St. Joe's shook off a slow start and exploded, to the tune of nine straight goals against fourth-seeded St. Francis. The Marauders easily claimed the 9-0 victory.
In the other contest, it was a tight game all the way through, but a goal from third-seeded Canisius just over three minutes into the third period was the game-winner over second-seeded Bishop Timon. The Crusaders claimed the victory by a score of 2-1.
St. Joe's and Canisius will now go toe-to-toe on Monday, February 27 at the Key Bank Center at 4:00 pm.
