BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Section 6 madness continued at Buffalo State College with this year's Section 6 girls' basketball championship games.
The first game of the slate was a nail biter. Dunkirk came out on top against Iroquois 79-76 to win the B-1 title. The Marauders sunk clutch free throws down the stretch to hang onto their lead.
They'll face Southwestern on Wednesday; the Trojans toppled Eden 54-44 in the second game of the day.
The AA title took overtime; Leah Harrigan sent Clarence and Orchard Park to an extra period. The Quakers came out on top 56-52.
Both Class A games were decided by large margins; Hamburg beat Kenmore West 64-37 and Williamsville South topped Grand Island 68-36.
The Bulldogs and the Billies will meet for the Class A crossover game at Buff State on Wednesday.
