Fun Fact: Licata is enjoying his transition from inside the huddle to the sidelines. The former UB Quarterback had a shot in the NFL but things didn't work out. Instead, he's taken a different path and is spending his first year as a high school head coach with the Tigers program.
When asked about what he brings to the table, Licata said, "Football teaches you so much and I think my own experience being a local kid, having the chance to play Division-I football at UB, and then getting the chance to play in the NFL, it's something that these kids can relate to. A lot of those kids have the same dreams I did growing up so I think they can relate to me and they see the hard work that it takes to get there and I'm just gonna put them in every opportunity they can get to get to those places."
