BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Maritime/Health Sciences senior Teryon Vernon won the 2019 Trench Trophy on Wednesday night.
Vernon was honored as the best lineman in Section 6; he helped pave the way to a Class B championship for the Falcons.
The other nominees were Ryan Bitka (Amherst), Geno Bruce (Hamburg), Conor Mahony (Lancaster), Tim Osborn (North Tonawanda), Cooper Pannes (Southwestern), Eric Schon (St. Francis), A.J. Urbaniak (Williamsville South), Jason Walker (St. Joe's), Jeremiah Williams (Bennett), Cody Wilson (Albion), and Zack Wolfer (Franklinville-Ellicottville).
The Connolly Cup will honor the best player in Section 6 regardless of position on Satruday, December 7th.
