Maple Grove's Brad Benson ran for two touchdowns to help power the Red Dragons to a 28-0 win over Alexander in the Class D Far West Regional on Friday.
With the win, Maple Grove advances to the state semifinals for the first time since 2014. The Red Dragons are still in the hunt for their first state title since winning the Class D Championship in 2008.
They will face Sidney at at Cicero-North High School in Syracuse on Friday, Nov. 18. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
