Lancaster, West Seneca East boys lacrosse fall in state semifinals

Wednesday was the end of the line for the West Seneca East and Lancaster boys lacrosse teams. The Trojans and Legends each fell in their respective state semifinals games on Wednesday night.

In the Class A game, the Legends lost to Section III champion West Genesee 15-6 after being down 9-2 at the half. It was the first time Lancaster had played in the semifinals. The game was played at Cicero-North Syracuse.

In the Class C game, the Trojans lost to Section III champion Westhill 17-3. It was their first time playing in the state semifinals after winning their first ever Far West Regional. The game was played at St. John Fisher.
