Fredonia and Southwestern to play for girls Section VI Class B title

The Section VI girls Class B title game is set.

Southwestern will play Fredonia for the overall title after each won their games on Sunday. The B1 and B2 finals were played at Buffalo State.

In the B1 final, Fredonia beat Dunkirk 72-37 to advance to the finals for the second straight year. Katie Price led Fredonia with 30 points while Gracie Morrison added 16.

In the B2 final, Southwestern hung on to beat Wilson 45-42 after the Trojans missed a three point attempt with seconds left in the game. The Trojans were led by Alanna Dibble with 14 points.

The girls Section VI overall Class B title game will be this Wednesday, March 7th at Buffalo State.

The winner will advance to the Far West Regional.
