The Frontier/Lake Shore/Orchard Park girls hockey teams are champions once again.

On Sunday, the FLOP girls team beat the Clarence/Amherst/Sweet Home team 3-1 in the WNY girls federation championship game. The game was played at the HarborCenter.

CASH struck first in the 1st period after Casey Adimey made it a 1-0 game but in the 2nd, FLOP's Jessica Peters tied things up. It remained 1-1 after two periods.

In the third period, FLOP took the lead after Haylee Tatar got a piece of a loose puck in front of the net. They added an insurance goal late in the 3rd after Peters fired a puck off the boards and down the ice into the empty net.

The Federation title is the third title for FLOP this season. They also won the Section VI title and the NYSPHSAA state title.
