Former Super 7 Athlete of the Week Davonte Gaines is going primetime in the world of college basketball.
The junior, who powered Health Sciences to it's firstSection VI Championship in March, announced his commitment to the University of Tennessee on Saturday.

Gaines averaged more than 17 points and 12 rebounds per game this past season as the Falcons advanced all the way to the State Final Four.
"With Coach Lanier and Coach Barnes, I believe I can expand as a player and grow as a person," Gaines wrote in a tweet. "I think we could have something special and be very successful."
