SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WKBW) — Back-to-back state champions.

The merged Clymer/Sherman/Panama football team topped Moriah 46-7 in Friday's NYSPHSAA Class D state championship game to finish the season atop the rest of Class D with an 11-1 record.

The Wolfpack happened to top Moriah in last year's state championship game but prepared for them like it was their first meeting. They jumped out to a quick lead after Gerrit Hinsdale found his main guy, Cam Barmore for a 36-yard TD. They followed it up with a 26-yd rushing TD from Brendon Ramsey, a 3-yd rushing TD from Connor Cooper and another TD pass from Hinsdale, this time to Zavon Overton. That gave the Wolfpack a 27-0 lead at the half. Cooper, Hinsdale and Bishop Kopta all added rushing TDs in the 2nd half to seal the win.
