Cardinal O'Hara, Sacred Heart, and Buffalo Seminary win Monsignor Martin hoops titles

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Three girls basketball teams are Monsignor Martin champions, winning their respective Division games on Friday night at Villa Maria College.

Cardinal O'Hara, the Division AA's no. 1 seed, topped no. 2 seed St. Mary's 77-53. Amelia Strong led the Hawks with 22 points while Aaliyah Parker added 17. Shay Ciezki had a big night for the Lancers finishing with 20 points and grabbing her 1,000th career point in the loss.

Sacred Heart, the Division A's no. 1 seed, topped no. 3 seed Nardin 74-41. Siobahn Ryan led the Sharks with a game-high 27 points.

Buffalo Seminary, Division B's no. 2 seed, topped no. 1 seed Park 29-20. Rosemary Franjoine 11 led the red-tailed hawks with 11 points while Kayla Johnson finished with 10 for the Pioneers.
