School: Canisius High School Crusaders

2016 Record: 10-2, Catholic High School Athletic Association State Championship

Head Coach: Rich Robbins

Starters Returning: 7 on offense, 3 on defense

Key Players Returning: WR Paul Woods, RB Kenyatta Huston, QB Jayce Johnson, CB Keenan Ollison, and Will McGennis

First Game: September 1st at Pittsford

Fun Fact: Canisius will be hitting the road six times this season to three different states, totaling more than 1,400 miles on the road.  Their nearest opponent is 7 miles away while their furthest opponent is 289 miles away.

When asked about the amount of travel, Robbins said, "The fact that we do get to go on the road, stay in a hotel, go play these big-time programs from Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, it gives our kids a lot of exposure. It gets them film against big-time competition and see how we stack up against not only New York football but football in the Northeast."
