Bishop Kearney rallied from a two score deficit to defeat Cleveland Hill 40-38 at New Era Field in the Class C Far West Regional on Saturday.
Aaron Wahler raced 63-yards for a touchdown to give the Golden Eagles a 38-28 lead with seven minutes to play in the game, before the Kings answered back with two quick scores.
Dahmir Pross scored on a 5-yard run to pull Kearney within 38-34. However, the Golden Eagles fumbled on the ensuing kickoff and the Kings made good on their extra possession.
Pross collected his sixth touchdown of the game on a one-yard run minutes later, giving the Kings their first lead of the game at 40-38 with a little more than four minutes to play in the game.
On the Hill's final drive, with an opportunity to re-take the lead, quarterback Tyler Phillips was sacked and fumbled the ball, which was recovered by Bishop Kearney.
