BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) — The season is over for Section VI field hockey teams and three teams have been crowned champions in their respective classes.
In Class A, Lancaster topped Orchard Park 4-2. Tiffany Andres scored two goals in the win, including the go-ahead.
In Class B, Amherst beat Williamsville East 2-1 with Lilliana Adimey scoring the game-winning goal for the Tigers.
In Class C, Akron defeated Barker, the two-time defending Section champion, 3-0. Three different players scored in the win as the team wrapped up a season where they only allowed one opposing goal.
