Abby Erceg scored two goals in the Flash's 3-2 win over the Seattle Reign on Saturday, but much of the focus surrounded the playing conditions.
The game was played at Frontier Field, where the Rochester Rhinos used to play, however, the game was played exclusively in the outfield and was just 58 yards wide, which is 12 feet smaller than a regulation size field.
Announcers just said the field is approximately 100x 58. That's barely legal and totally ridiculous. #NWSL

@JeffKassouf this is shocking and embarrassing.

I joked earlier but this field is unacceptable. @NSWL @JeffPlush are you watching this? Why would you allow this?

The last soccer game played at Frontier Field was in 2005. The Flash typically play at Rhinos Stadium, but due to a scheduling conflict with the Summer Concert Series moved their game against Seattle to a different venue.
